Handheld Marine GPS

We've got handheld marine GPS navigation systems from Garmin and Magellan in addition to our fixed mount GPS units.  These handhelds are highly portable and can be used for hiking or kayaking outings as well as your weekend fishing trips.  The Garmin GPSMAP 78 series models are especially handy for marine use since they float in water.  They're fun, too - great for geocaching expeditions with the kids.  Don't forget to buy a mount if you want to secure your handheld in a boat!  The Garmin GPSMAP 62 series are also great outdoor handhelds that are waterproof, but do not float.

Note: these are all very handy navigational tools, but do not function as portable locator beacons.  See our PLB and EPIRB section for those products.
